What is Troika! – the role-playing game?
Troika! is a tabletop role-playing game that immerses players in a surreal and whimsical world filled with bizarre creatures, strange landscapes, and imaginative adventures. Troika! draws inspiration from classic fantasy literature, as well as a healthy dose of surrealism and absurdity.
In the game, players take on the roles of adventurers known as “travellers” who journey through the mysterious and ever-shifting world known as the “Folding Desert.” This desert is a vast expanse where islands of reality drift and collide, creating a setting where anything is possible.
Troika! is known for its emphasis on creativity and improvisation. Players are encouraged to think outside the box and come up with inventive solutions to the challenges they face. The system is rules-light, with character creation being quick and easy, allowing players to dive straight into the action.
The game features a unique magic system where spells are cast by invoking the names of strange and esoteric entities. Combat is fast-paced and deadly, with a focus on tactical decision-making and resource management.
Overall, Troika! offers players a surreal and imaginative gaming experience, where the only limit is their own creativity. It’s a game where anything can happen, and adventures are limited only by the bounds of the imagination.

I can resize the PDF but there winds up being a decent amount of negative space along the edges.
