So a long time ago I uploaded this character sheet for Lamentations of the Flame Princess (LotFP) – not realising at the time – that sheet was my 3-page experimental version with advancements for players to choose on level-up and my own set of adventuring skills.
This version from 2016 is the original 2-page character sheet I made and it is much closer to the official LotFP character sheet.
I have seen the other character sheet out and about in the wild, so I know people use it – hopefully you’ll find this one useable as well.
Don’t know what Lamentations of the Flame Princess is?
Lamentations of the Flame Princess (LotFP) is a tabletop role-playing game designed by James Edward Raggi IV. It’s known for its dark and gritty atmosphere, drawing inspiration from classic fantasy and horror elements. The game emphasizes player agency and survival in a dangerous and unforgiving world.
LotFP uses a modified version of the Basic/Expert rules from older editions of Dungeons & Dragons as its base system, but it introduces its own unique mechanics and setting elements. The game often explores mature and controversial themes, making it suitable for more mature players.
One of the notable features of LotFP is its focus on player creativity and problem-solving, often eschewing traditional combat-centric gameplay in favor of narrative-driven experiences.
Overall, Lamentations of the Flame Princess offers a dark and challenging RPG experience, appealing to those who enjoy gritty, atmospheric storytelling and exploration of darker themes in their gaming sessions.
And the best thing?! You can get the no-art version free on the website.
